Dr. Anthony Lagina, MD, Associate Professor, Wayne State University
An expert in wilderness medicine and an attending physician at Detroit Receiving Hospital’s renowned emergency medical department, Dr. Lagina will talk about practical steps to treat hypothermia and exposure.

The Community Care series of lectures will provide pragmatic and informed solutions to pertinent issues that are part of the contemporary cultural experience. Developed in partnership with trained professionals and community organizers, these courses are geared towards the lay person, empowering all community members.
