Wend artist bree gant + Ryan Myers-Johnson of Sidewalk Detroit examine the aspects of public space, transportation, mobility, and the development of ritual expressed in gant’s work. Collaborator and Kresge Fellow Celia Benvenutti performs in parallel, activating the Wend exhibition space and projected as a backdrop to the discussion.
Wend is organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. This exhibition is supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
