Osterloh’s work is heavily informed by her experiences with the cultural friction that accompanies identities imposed by society. As such, she has generated work that examines specialized ways of seeing via her multidisciplinary practice. Osterloh will be joined by MOCAD’s Artistic Director Jova Lynne and Assistant Curator M Pofahl to discuss how her practice extends from the artist’s specific and melded cultural history and how these ideas are embedded in Her Demilitarized Zone: Image Without Weapon.
