MOCAD is hosting an Object Collection event where families have the opportunity to contribute a Remembrance Object to the Gun Violence Memorial Project that honors and celebrates the lives of their loved ones taken by gun violence. This vital memorial seeks to honor the lives and narratives of victims through personal remembrance objects that tell their stories. If you wish to contribute, please select a meaningful item that represents and connects with your loved one.
ADDITIONAL COLLECTION EVENT: Saturday, June 21
All collection events are from 12-5PM. Please register for a 30-minute time slot where you will meet with a Museum staff member to collect information about you, your loved one, and their story, as well as collect your object, which will be added to the Gun Violence Memorial Project.
