MOCAD CAFÉ

Admission: This event is free and open to the public. MOCAD has a $10 suggested donation or is free for MOCAD members.

Opioid abuse and addiction is a long-running epidemic in our country. You could prevent another tragic loss by responding when you least expect it.

Experts from the Detroit Recovery Project will teach us to recognize the warning signs of a person who needs help and how to administer Narcan, a life-saving medication that reverses the effects of an overdose. Let’s empower ourselves with a first aid skill as valuable as CPR.
