MOCAD is one of the city’s most exciting, unique, and adaptable settings. Designed by Albert Kahn and Ernest Willoughby Associates in 1907, our historic 22,000 square foot space was restored to retain its singular character and urbane feel. The venue’s versatility, in conjunction with rotating world-class exhibitions, makes the Museum the ideal space for a broad range of events.
Proud to be an integral part of a vibrant cultural district, MOCAD is located on Woodward Avenue in the Midtown neighborhood.

Weddings
Finished with raw and painted brick mixed with light wood, polished with modern furnishings, and fitted with a floor-to-ceiling glass door, MOCAD Café has been refurbished to be a perfect setting for your reception, rehearsal dinner, or ceremony. MOCAD supports our nonprofit community by offering discounted rates for staffing and usage fees. Utilize our discounted rates for your organization’s events, receptions, and meetings.
