More than two million people in Michigan have some sort of criminal record, and each year more than 8,000 people return home from prison across the state. This conversation centers the voices of returning citizens leading efforts to build the political power of justice-involved individuals and their families, and offer insights into how we can collectively support community members navigating re-entry after time away.

The Michigan Justice Fund presents a series of panel discussions around artmaking and incarceration as accompaniment to the Free Your Mind exhibition in the Mike Kelley Mobile Homestead (in partnership with the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum).
