SELF-LOVE: THROUGH A NEW LENS

APRIL 23 – MAY 16, 2021

Self-Love: Through a New Lens presents the thoughts, creativity, and imagination of teens living in Detroit and beyond. In a time of global chaos, signified by omnipresent digital-age crises and constant cultural flux, affirming love for oneself is crucial to alleviating stress and staying grounded. Curated by MOCAD Teen Council, this exhibition reflects themes of love, cathartic healing, and personal acceptance in uncertain times.

Self-Love: Through a New Lens, runs Friday, April 23 through Sunday, May 16 and will be on view during regular museum hours. This exhibition and related programming is generously supported by Applebaum Family Philanthropy.
