Architect and founder of the collaborative design studio EC3, Edwin Chan presents the ideas and collaborative process behind True North, a new live/work community of Quonset huts opening in Detroit this spring. Additionally, Chan will discuss ongoing and recent projects that address the need for engaging, flexible, and thought-provoking architecture and urban realms of all scales, including works in the US and abroad.

Prior to founding EC3, Chan served as a design partner at Gehry Partners where he led major building projects for clients such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Louis Vuitton Foundation, University of Minnesota, and Swire Properties.
